Objectives
At the end of this Conference, participants will be able to:
- Describe the current role and application of echocardiography in patients with suspected and overt cardiac disease
- Identify how novel and evolving echocardiography techniques can be applied to the clinical practice of echocardiography
- Describe how echocardiography integrates with other cardiac imaging modalities to optimally evaluate the patient with suspected or confirmed cardiovascular disease
ACCREDITATION FOR PHYSICIANS
Accreditation Statement – Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
This event is an accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. You may claim a maximum of 16 hours.
This program was co-developed by the Canadian Society of Echocardiography, Canadian Society of Cardiovascular MRI, and the Canadian Society of Cardiovascular Nuclear and CT Imaging and was planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity, and balance.Asynchronous viewing of the event recordings allows you to claim up to 0.5 credits per hour (see more detailed information below). You must be registered to the event prior to April 30 to be able to access the online content.

International Accreditation
The CSE Hybrid Echo Weekend in-person or hybrid option offers 16 hours of Section 1 MOC credits with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and this activity is also eligible for credits within the following accreditation systems: American Medical Association (AMA), European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP), and European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC).
American Medical Association:
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert Royal College MOC credit to AMA credit can be found here.
European Union of Medical Specialists – European Accreditation Council for CME (UEMS-EACCME):
Live educational activities recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) eligible for ECMEC®.
Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) - Ministry of Public Health - Qatar:
Through an agreement between the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Professions and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, physicians participating in the Royal College MOC Program may record DHP Category 1 or Category 3 credits as Royal College MOC Section 1 or MOC Section 3 credits.
The European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC):
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology, Royal College MOC Section 1 credits are deemed to be substantively equivalent to EBAC CPD credits.

Conference evaluations and certificates are managed through the congress app. Here are the steps to follow to download your certificate.
STEP 1: Complete the “Evaluation for Presenters” for each lecture you attended/watched.
STEP 2: Complete the “Global Course Evaluation” at the end of the Conference.
STEP 3: Upon completion of step 2, the Certificate will become available for downloading. We recommend that you save the certificate to your device.

Claiming Credits for Watching Content On Demand
If you have missed any sessions, you may watch them at your convenience until November 2, 2026 by accessing the event web app. You may claim Section 2 Self-Learning Maintenance of Certification credits for watching recorded sessions.
- Option 1: Watching recordings of accredited CPD activities is eligible in the Royal College Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program under MOC Section 2: Individual Learning for Educational Content Review (watching). You may claim 0.5 credits per hour.
- Option 2: Activity Preparation - You may create a personal learning project to address a need, problem, issue/goal relevant to your professional practice, and claim 2 credits per hour.
